A Lawyer and human rights activist from Najaf. Laila worked in humanitarian relief with a number of international organizations such as the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), and the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to help the displaced people from conflict areas residing in Najaf. She is currently working at the United Nations International Organization for Migration (IOM), on the community police support program at the Ministry of Interior. Laila is concerned with public and social affairs, and she is a member of the “Friends of People of Determination” voluntary team in Najaf. Laila has participated in the Social Activist Track of Iraq Leadership Fellows 2021.
