Mohammed Al-Hakeem is Co-Founder of the Iraqi Association of Agronomists in Baghdad and one of its board members. He is also an activist who is committed to raising awareness about the climate and environment issues in Iraq. Mohammed also advocates in his community for the 15th goal of Sustainable Development Goals, “Life on Land,” through two projects he’s currently implementing: a waste recycling project, and the forestation of schools and government institutions. Mohammed holds a Master’s degree in Agronomy and a Bachelor’s degree in Law. He is participating in the Social Activist Track of Iraq Leadership Fellows Program.
