On Friday, December 5, 2020, the Iraq Leadership Fellows program concluded the third training session for the 2019/2020 cohort. The session, held online to mitigate the risks of the Covid-19 pandemic, involved intensive training on Adaptive Leadership with the expert trainer Ghaleb Darabya. The workshop also included lectures on the structure of Iraq’s economy with Ahmed Tabaqchali, and on the nature of power transfer in democracies with Dr. Akeel Abbas.

By the end of this workshop, the fellows of this cohort had completed the necessary requirements to join the ILF Alumni Network. The fellows will continue to get regular support and mentorship from the ILF team, as well as additional empowerment opportunities from the supporting organizations: DT Institute, Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung, and IRIS.
